The Golden Gate Bridge celebrated its 75th anniversary last year. Heading north for a Shearwater Journeys' pelagic trip departing from Sausalito or Bodega Bay? Northbound, there is no bridge toll. However, if you plan to return southbound, you should be aware that the wonderful toll folks who gladly accepted your payment are no longer present! These folks have been replaced by Electronic Tolling. Even in a rented vehicle, you will need to pay the toll. Please be sure to check out the web site beforehand!
